CIRPS Consortium, a consortium of the University Sapienza, University Rome and the research department of philosophy at the University of Rome Tor Vergata offer a training course entitled "Advanced education for emotional and sexual differences."

The course aims to inform and raise awareness, especially the young people, gender identity and sexual orientation on, especially in light of the latest scientific findings. Will be critically analyzed the performances of homosexual and transsexual reality conveyed by the media of mass communication in the media respect the right of users to access accurate information.

During the course, ample space will be devoted to reflection on the so-called Best practices (best practices). Positive action to that effect will be the establishment and start-up of a permanent observatory on the communication and information conveyed by the mass media on sexual orientation (OMO, Media Monitoring and Homosexuality). The project (Training, Monitoring and Journalist Award) funded by the Province of Rome and the European Union was created by journalist Pasquale Quaranta with the technical coordination of Valeria Troya, an expert in European project (CIRPS Consortium) and René Buonocore, linguistic-cultural mediator (CIRPS Consortium).

"The training - says Pasquale Quaranta - consists of 60 hours of lectures plus 3 months of training and consists of three modules: social, health and wellness, and safety. The course provides tools for intervention for students motivated to move in information and communication respectful of non-stereotyped gender identities and sexual orientations. The topics range from homophobic bullying between the high school gay and lesbian studies in academia, the LGBT community, from coming out to minority stress in the family until the homosexual parenting, the pronouncements of law at the law; femminiello from the Neapolitan culture to transsexualism, prostitution male harm reduction policies, from sexually transmitted infections to bullying in the workplace. "

Course emotional and sexual differences in education is supported, among others, by Agedo (association of gay parents), Arcigay Arcilesbica, Families Rainbow (association of homosexual parents), Network Lenford (advocacy for LGBT rights), certain rights (Association radical), Mario Mieli Club of Rome.
