Some thoughts
How many of you know how to play a musical instrument properly? Obviously not all. Each of us has limits and resources with these faces every day of his life. Each of us has a disability than anything and resource than anything else. Likewise, a person with a disability is one that has the physical, psychological or sensory, but not worth less than others. What you do not know you do not understand and inevitably frightening, but it would be nice to be able to not take more than an odd and scared when we see a street. A disabled boy of your age have exactly your same problems, quarrels with parents, discuss with the teacher gets sick, gets excited for a song ... where is the diversity? Surely the disease and the wheelchair are an indispensable part of a person but do not represent the whole, there is more behind: thoughts, emotions, plans, ideals. Is it bad for a lot of people think that these people are just people "sick", walking like penguins, who struggles in a wheelchair, that look wrong, and obese bruttine.Ognuno of us has its own story to tell that allows us to be unique and unrepeatable. The experience is enriching for all, the experience a disabled person. Have you ever stopped to look in the eye instead of a disabled person? Have you ever really got to know a disabled person? Do it. You will not regret. Do not stop the outward appearance, because the real handicap is that he is unable to go further. What scares us so much? Diversity? Diversity is a human condition. Why so many differences? In our constitution it is written that "It is the responsibility of the Republic to remove those obstacles of an economic and social nature which constrain the freedom and equality of citizens, prevent the full development of the human person and the effective participation of all workers the political, economic and social development of the country. "But in fact, survives the disabled, rarely gets married, even more rarely have children, even the disabled woman can not even adopt them ... If the disabled person is working or living in precarious small jobs, a minimum pension that allows him only to provide for his basic needs (which is why we do not find hardly disabled in a room in fun). In addition, the disabled also meets architectural barriers. The disabled is far from having equality and freedom. At least for now. Perhaps there is some rare exceptions benefit from a good family, so much help and a city more or less accessible. But the others? It almost seems like we live in two parallel worlds. We're here, we're here with them. And the street does not meet the disability of some good thinking, the politician, the current president ... people we met. And then the real help we must start from citizens. Together. To a world that meets the needs of all. For a company that looks at all, even the sick.
