Recipe: Glazed Orange Cake!

Today I pass the recipe for a really good cake, cake frosted orange!
INGREDIENTS:
  • 3 oranges 3 eggs
  • 300 g flour 150 g butter 200 g sugar
  • 250 g icing sugar 1 tablespoon baking
  • vanilla
Squeeze oranges and set aside some 'juice to make glaze. The rest add to the flour, butter, eggs and sugar, knead for several minutes. Finally stir in the yeast.
Line a shallow roasting pan with parchment paper and large, pour the mixture and place in a moderate oven for 30 minutes. If you have an oven powerful enough 160 ° - 170 ° and take the test with a toothpick if not Exactly 30 minutes have passed. If the toothpick comes out clean the cake is cooked! Spread the frosting
then you have done with icing sugar and orange juice kept aside. This should be done When the cake is' cool down completely.

Now some things on the frosting that I learned the hard way by dint of it:
  1. juice they need is very little, if they put too much juice will be a liquid, not a glaze. When the taste should just have the consistency of those which are covered with icing cakes!
  2. prepare the glaze while the cake bakes and let well there a couple of hours. Some also try to put it in the fridge to harden, but I've never tried.
  3. the trick that I wrote to put the icing when the cake is really cool to be followed strictly, otherwise the glaze penetrates and is frozen solid!
  4. You must have patience with the glaze: when you put the cake is already on the top plate and you will leak everywhere. You have to put a little time and give it time to dry, then continue. Pick up the frosting well fall on the plate and continue to return it: if it solidifies on the plate is just a waste!
  5. If you use blood oranges will be a wonderful pink frosting that will a beautiful scene!
I leave you with a picture: I did not find blood oranges, and in fact I got the frosting a pale yellow ... but good! I made it after you cut so you can see inside. A house like this cake a lot, try it with a glass of orange juice! Bon appetit!
